    Krista Kafer speaks to DCRW

    Thanks for joining us on May 20 to hear from Krista Kafer, Executive Director, from Colorado’s Future Project.  Krista provided excellent commentary and some very helpful tips on what we can do over the next four years to message with conviction and empathy.  We hope you walked away with a few ideas on how we can all move forward in working to convince even more women that government control is not in their best interest.

  • Krista Kafer - “What Can Conservatives Expect the Next Four Years and What Can We Do About It?”

    Who I am has a lot to do with where I come from. My dad’s grandparents
    came to this country in the early 20th Century from Russia. They were fortunate;
    all of their kin were exiled to Siberia under Stalin. My grandparents, Fred and
    Erna, were tenant farmers. When the land owner kicked them off the land, they
    moved to Commerce City, CO to work in the factories. My dad grew up in
    Commerce City and became a salesman.
    My mother’s parents, Joe and Shirley, had to go to work at a young age and

  • November Meeting Recap - Margo Knutson

    Thank you for joining us on Wednesday, November 14 for an early Thanksgiving lunch.  Michael Brown, the former Under Secretary of Homeland Security and Radio Talk Show Host for the Michael Brown Show, was compelling, engaging and provided much needed comic relief.  We so appreciated his time and expertise on the issues of the day and are excited he now lives in Douglas County.  We also want to thank Bonnie Winters for sharing her "winning bid item" with us.  Her kindness does not go unnoticed.

    Please walk away from this message with one final thought for the year - we live in a wonderful county.  We are surrounded by dedicated Republicans who will continue our mission every day for our liberty.  Take the holiday season to reflect and share much deserved time with family and friends.  Then remember, we have work to do starting in January.  We didn't get the election results we had hoped for, but that doesn't change our love of country or our vision for a more stable, solid and better future.  We have to further our cause together.  Have a blessed Thanksgiving and always remember, we are an exceptional nation.

  • Important! Luncheon Costs Going UP!

    We’re sorry to announce that the price for our luncheons will now cost us $20 each month instead of $18. This increase was predicated by Lone Tree Hotel raising the cost to us by $2.00 per person starting in January 2012. It has been quite a few years since Lone Tree Hotel has had to raise their prices but they had to pass on this increase to us at this time. The Pay Pal option will remain the same at $1.00 per luncheon so, if you’re paying with that option, the charge will be $21.00. You can still pay the $20 at the door with a prior reservation. Walk-ins with no prior reservation will be charged $25 if space is available. Again, we regret this price increase but it is beyond our control.

  • We Believe

    That the right of the individual to achieve the best that is within him, as long as he respects the rights of others, is the source of our Nation's strength.

    That government exists to protect the freedom of opportunity in which each individual's creative ability can flourish.

    That government activities should be limited to those things which people cannot do at all, or cannot do so well themselves.

    That the most effective government is government closest to the people.
