Wayne Williams was elected Secretary of State of Colorado in 2014 with more votes than other secretary of state candidate in Colorado history. A Republican, he received the endorsement of the only two Democratic mayors in El Paso County because of the manner in which he conducted elections and other business while serving as El Paso County’s clerk and recorder.
