2018 is here and while I say, ‘Thank You’ for the confidence you have shown in me by electing me to serve as your President for the next two years, I also have confidence that all of you will be working alongside me and the newly elected officers to accomplish all we have in front of us.
At the February meeting, our donations will go to Project Sanctuary. Each month, watch our new abbreviated newsletter for the recipient of these funds. Project Sanctuary is a therapeutic military family program that focuses on the needs, challenges and concerns that our military families face every day, taking military families from BATTLE-READY to FAMILY-READY. The Board vets any charity who receives our donated funds: Project Sanctuary is rated a Four Star Charity by Charity Navigator. If you have an organization you would like us to consider, please give us the name.

March 6th is Caucus! The caucus system is grassroots politics at its best. Caucus is a meeting of the registered Republicans within a precinct for the specific purpose of selecting representatives to participate in the party’s election process. It is at your precinct caucus that you have an opportunity to play a key role in Colorado’s political system by selecting representatives from among your Republican neighbors to be precinct committee people and assembly delegates. If you haven’t done so in the past, please give consideration to not only attending your caucus, but in running to be elected as a precinct person or delegate. We as Republican women need to step forward! Please visit dcgop.org and find the location of your meeting. You know the old saying, ‘if you want something done, ask a woman’ — the Caucus is our chance to DO IT.
