We are about halfway between Spring and Summer, and our May meeting will be our last
until September. I hope you all will take the summer break from meetings to get out and
work to help the candidate of your choice get elected. We are patriotic women who love
America and will fight to take back our country! So, let’s knock on those doors, make
phone calls, address envelopes, and do “whatever it takes” to make this country RED
again.
We had our Fundraising for Freedom Auction in April and I thank you all for all your help.
On August 13th, we will be holding our Old-Fashioned Political Picnic at the Wiens Ranch,
more information on that will be forthcoming. Lots of help will be needed, so look for an
email or call asking you to contribute to making this a huge success.
Our 2022 DCRW Membership Directories will be distributed this month. Don’t forget to
pick yours up at the registration table.
This past weekend the Colorado Federation of Republican Women held their Spring Board
Meeting at the Marriott in Golden. We had some workshops, heard great speakers, and
our officers were installed by our National Federation of Republican Women Region
Director, Karen Newton, who flew in from Texas to join us. We also raised a little money
on Saturday night after hearing from Political Consultant, Dick Wadhams – a great time
was had by all! Our Fall Convention will be hosted by the Summit County Republican
Women in Breckenridge on October 14-16th. Those Summit County girls are really
working to make it a great event, so you should all make every effort to attend. You won’t
be disappointed!
Our speaker this month is John Kellner and we are asking everyone to toss a little money
in the buckets as a contribution that will go directly to John for his Attorney General
campaign.
Always remember, we are pedaling for FREEDOM, don’t stop pedaling. To keep our
balance, we must keep moving forward!
