Happy Mother’s Day to all of our mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers! Don’t forget to see or call your mother on her special day . . . Sunday, May 14th!
Also of great importance is Memorial Day on May 29th. This is not just a time to have a day off work and a long weekend, celebrate the start of the summer season, or have a picnic or BBQ. It is a formal American holiday which is set aside for us to remember our military service members who have died in the line of duty. I might also add that we should remember ALL of our military service members who are no longer with us. All gave some . . . and some gave all! May they all rest in peace! Please plan to attend one of the numerous Memorial Day services that are all over the metro Denver area. Check out the Calendar of Events in this issue for locations and/or websites to find a service near you.
The divisiveness in our Country seem to be as strong as ever. It’s unbelievable to me how the left has continued to resist anything and everything President Trump puts forth. I think we have to stand up to this “resistance” with our own peaceable efforts to support the President. I can’t remember this vitriol happening ever before to this extent. I believe the President is moving forth on his campaign promises to “Make America Great Again” and we should support him and his administration! I also believe he has accomplished a great deal in the short time he’s been in office not only for what he’s doing for the U.S. but also having to deal with foreign diplomacy with those countries that do not like us at all -North Korea, Iran, Russia, etc. The President needs our prayers and support!
If you haven’t already signed up to receive those White House updates, I urge you to go to www.whitehouse.govfor those daily briefing emails.
The 2017 Membership Directory is now at the printers so we should have them to distribute at the next meeting. Remember that we do not have meetings from June through August but we hope to have at least one evening meeting over the summer. We will keep you updated on all the summer activities via email . . . and there will be of lot of chances for you to keep involved! Have a wonderful and safe summer!
I’m looking forward to seeing all of you on May 17thto hear our CO Attorney General Cynthia Coffman on the terrible problem of Human Trafficking. You certainly need to be informed so don’t miss this.

Yours in Freedom and Liberty,
