With Election Day looming in the not too distant future, we are really down to CRUNCH TIME! I know many of you have been doing yeoman’s work in walking precincts, making phone calls, attending fundraisers and events, etc., but to those of you who haven’t done so yet, please get off the couch NOW! We all have to do our part to help our Republican candidates cross the finish line! Ways to help are readily available at the Parker Victory Office and by working with the DCGOP at www.dcgop.org, contact Tanne Blackburn at 720-331-8204 (see details for both in this newsletter). We can’t wake up on November 9th and say, “We might have won if I would have just put in a few more volunteer hours!”
Another vital way to help out is to choose a Republican candidate or two or three that agree with your philosophy and volunteer to help on their campaigns with your talent, time, and treasure! Volunteer your precious time to help them! Remember . . . “If it is to be, it’s up to me!”
Our Non-Auction Auction to benefit the CO Senate Majority Fund and the House Legislative Fund is closed as of October 3rd. Many thanks to those of you who supported our annual fundraiser to raise needed monies for our Republican candidates. While we didn’t raise as much as we had hoped, we did raise $2,800 through the generosity of many which will be divided equally among the two Funds. The complete list of the wonderful donors is included in this Newsletter and on our website. THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!
As those of you who were at our September meeting know, there was some disagreement as to how to vote on Amendment #71, the Raise the Bar Amendment. The Independence Institute Forum recommended that we vote “No” but there is another respected group who thinks we should support this Amendment. To that end, we are going to give time to Josh Penry at the October meeting to tell us why he thinks we should vote “Yes” on the Amendment. Stay tuned!
I’m sure many of you feel like I do regarding how the media seems to be entirely in the Clinton camp and disparages Trump at every turn regardless of whether or not they have to mislead, twist, or make up stories about him. Case in point is the PTSD controversy. The media bias in this situation is pathetic and the headlines and stories are taken completely out of context. We have to fight back on this through social media and in conversing with our family and friends to set the record straight! We can’t just sit and let these stories gather steam. I know that at times Trump puts his foot in his mouth, but this is not one of them. Speak out against the media twisting these stories! If we don’t stand up for the evil that is going on in this Country, who will do it? Trump is the only one standing between us and a disastrous Clinton presidency! Make sure your circle of influence is registered to vote Republican!
***** UNITED WE STAND –DIVIDED WE FALL! *****
I’m looking forward to seeing all of you at our October 19th luncheon meeting!

Yours in Freedom and Liberty,
