Happy Mother’s Day to all of our mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers! Don’t forget to see or call your mother on her special day . . . Sunday, May 14th! Also of great importance is Memorial Day on May 29th. This is not just a time to have a day off work and a long weekend, celebrate the start of the summer season, or have a picnic or BBQ. It is a formal American holiday which is set aside for us to remember our military service members who have died in the line of duty. I might also add that we should remember ALL of our military service members who are no longer with us. All gave some . . . and some gave all! May they all rest in peace!…

Can the things going on in Washington, D.C., get any more divisive? We are certainly experiencing a divide in our Country like never before. I sincerely hope the Republicans can UNITE so we can move forward! Hopefully the R’s can work out a plan to repeal and replace Obamacare that will please both sides and, more importantly, be the very best plan for our citizens. This is what they promised and this is what they should deliver. This week we are also looking to the confirmation of Colorado’s own Neil Gorsuch as the next Supreme Court Justice. Are we going to a “nuclear” option where they reduce a super majority vote from 60 to a simple majority vote of 51? Time will tell but it certainly looks like that is…

It has been 40+ days now since the Inauguration of President Donald Trump (Hooray!) and he has already accomplished a monumental amount of actions that he promised us that he would do during his campaign! Now if only the Dems would get with the act and confirm the rest of his Cabinet and lower nominees, he will really get the Trump Train rolling! Did you like the President’s speech to the Joint Session of Congress as much as I did?! I thought he hit it out of the park and even some of the liberal media had to admit that it was a true Presidential speech. A new day has dawned and it is now Morning in America! President Donald Trump apparently does not sleep since he has been working like the Energizer Bunny in the two weeks that he has been in office. He has accomplished so much it’s staggering. It’s such a shame and a disgrace really that the Dems are dragging their feet and doing everything in their power to stymy the confirmations of President Trump’s Cabinet choices. The vitriol that is spewed not only by elected officials but also by the Left is saddening and unbelievable.
